Bereavement
None of us wants to talk about bereavement… But just yesterday I had two friends go thru the death of a family member and I sent hams to both families. When I made the call to see if we had the address right, and to tell them a ham was coming they were both thrilled. When we lose a loved one our homes swell with people we haven’t seen in years and there is nothing better than breaking bread and reminiscing, especially if the food is good. Our half hams feed 8-10 as an entrée, or many more than that for sandwiches and grazing. A whole ham easily feeds 25 as an entrée, and will be the perfect item to send, to go along with all the side dishes and desserts that will soon appear. Our hams are easy to serve. You can serve them at room temperature, or warm them up for an hour or two. Think about sending a ham the next time you are faced with the loss of a loved one. Or if your office or neighborhood want to send something to the family instead of flowers.
